I posted my fall line of of sheep for sale a month ago. Snickers, 3 adult ewes, ewe lamb, and ram lamb. Last night a lady bought everyone except the ram lamb!! She is going to have an awesome starter flock. I will be delivering first weekend of December to Emory, TX area. 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

I will be holding onto Dottie's ram lamb and showing him in March. He will be my backup plan against buying a new ram. 🥰

I posted the name and particulars of a good vet for farm and pet. Also Cody's number for hay.

It is good to always have a back up ram - just in case. He can always be sold or put in the freezer.
So if we got another ram would I just keep both rams separated from Ewes? We are starting with a small flock (1 Ram, 3 Ewes, 1 Ewe Lamb). We currently have acres and want to try rotational grazing as much as possible.

With just a few ewes, another ram would be a royal pain in your backside. One ram can easily service 30 ewes, or even more.

I have to work tomorrow 😭 since Joe Stupid and his programmers deadhead the finfans and now they are leaking. I wanted to work on the current list of sheep projects:
- Fix roof for show sheep pen
-Drainage in north pen
- Hard pipe water lines
- Concrete for gate and scale area
I also need to weigh babies, grab fecals, and trim show sheep feet. Their hooves suck on the soft bedding. Once their roof is redone, I'm going to do covered area with concrete pavers so they wear hooves more.
