The SPCA brought me some animals late last night, one of which included an orphaned 2 day old Pygmy goat via a seizure! I have no idea if this little one even got any colostrum!!!!

I milk Jersey cows & this is ALL I have for milk at the moment - CAN I FEED WHOLE COWS MILK?????

Yes you can feed cows milk. I think at this point colostrum might be a little too late, though if I had access I personally would try...If I didn't , I would make due with what I had.

I have Nigerian Dwarfs (small breed also, but not necessarily as small as a pygmy) and my littlest baby this year only drank a few, like one or 1 1/2 oz at a time the first few days. I was feeding them 5 or 6 times the first few days, but went to 4 times a day by the 4th day. There a lot of threads on here with great advice about how to feed new babies and it seems that the most important things are to not over feed and to make sure body temp is up before feeding because goats can't digest anything when they are cold. Good luck with your baby.

Unfortunately, early Sunday morning the buckling passed away while in my hubby's arms. The SPCA has taken the kid in for Necropsy...poor little man had the deck stacked against him from the start and I wasn't much help :..((

Sorry for your loss. I have a little one that we saved from it's mother. She killed the sibling and was trying to kill him as well, so we took the little guy cause the owner really did not care about them :(
