I would LOVE that! I ordered some seeds for next year. Cracks me up I bought seeds for a weed that grows everywhere else!

One man’s weed is another man’s treasure. I can’t tell you how much vegetation I’ve yanked in the name of A Nice Yard (my suburbanite Karen days) only to learn that it was unnecessary or counterproductive.

Growing, picked needs couple days air dry, already dried comes too. Both straight & broadleaf types.The seed stems are from broadleaf. So, PM an address if you want these.

Also have a lot of mullein leaves dried if you want/use. still several those seed heads out there too.

You are an angel!! I found ONE mullein plant back in the tall grass last spring (I’m sure there are more out on the pastureland that I can’t get to because I can’t get on and off my horse to open and close gates ) Now I can’t find it

Can be on way by Wed. I have this stuff everywhere, although the goats eat the plantain pretty regular. Elderberry and beauty berry in abundance, also. I actually walked around to pick dandelion puffs yesterday. Yeah, another goat fav, so blowing those in fields. So many try killing out & I'm encouraging growth. The beauty berry leaves do well for bug deterrent. One year I'll make some into a spray or oil. Now, crush fresh leaves & rub works.

How do you use the plantain?

I don’t use plantain yet cuz we don’t have any
But I spend the sumner covered in welts from mosquitoes and swellings from the occasional hornet attack. They won’t allow me to open my gates or feeders, and have built hives in my saddle gullet!!
I’ve heard you can use it for UTI’s so I’m hopeful about that as the meds suppressing my immune system leave me victim to that frequently. I’m really excited about having this next year! I have yarrow, prickly lettuce, comfrey, stinging nettle (which I don’t really use much) lemon balm and a few others to learn to use medicinally. So far I’ve had amazing results with comfrey! If you have any tips, I’d welcome them!

Welp, didn’t get too far today, but the last two lengths of chicken wire are off the roof and I think its ready for sheeting. It only needs like 5 sheets and we have 10, so maybe he will put a couple on the sides to give the rabids more protection from winds. I got all the shoulder high weeds cleaned out of the corner and the miscellaneous crap he had tossed in there (who knows why?) He lowered the growout cage where I will be able to kindle the does so I can ALMOST reach. Not sure how I will catch them but time will tell. At least once I have it cleaned out and disinfected I can get her in there as she is due the 9th and its her first litter so I want her to have a week to settle. All thats left is to build doors and do sheeting. Then chicks can be loose and we won’t have to listen to the rabbits bang around outside our window all night. I am so relieved. The stress is almost over

Beauty berries here are shriveled up, little dried up immature pinheads. Leaves are wilted and dried out. Beauty berries make attractive plants. When I make a herb garden, I want beauty berries in it.

Mine are full and colorful! RAIN....yeah we've been blessed all summer. It rained yesterday late day and all night. They are lovely bushes.
