Love you, sister.Went to emergency as I could no longer cope with the pain from my thumb.
Unfortunately it is NOT dislocated so there is no help to be had. I was praying they could pop it back in and it would be just a little sore but manageable. There’s nothing they can give me for pain because I am already on oxycodone(which isn’t helping it at all) They muscled a larger splint than the one I was wearing which was excruciating and it’s not coming off because the slightest movement of my fingers shoots pain to instant 10.
Boone handled things well, even with me crying out when they manipulated my hand. He was concerned for me but showed no aggression whatsoever towards the staff.
The wound is now glued shut, I’m on antibiotics and praying God will give me the strength to deal with yet another level of pain.
I will sure be glad when this sh*t is over and I can walk into heaven and never feel this way again.
