Made it into town. Fen was kind of shutdown on the trip in. Definitely not his happy little self. Boone knew we were going to town today because Randy woke me up and he was physically pressing against me while I was trying to get dressed and began crying as soon as he saw me collar Fen. He was much happier when I gave him a deer leg. He’s locked outside but the single digit weather doesn’t bother him.
There’s a veteran with a tiny dog on the chair next to us. Thank God I didn’t bring Boone. He would have had hysterics.
Fen let out one bark (he became dog reactive when ranch dogs kept going after him) He did lay down quietly after, although he was laser focused on my breakfast or on Randy. He never looks at me. At least he is well behaved.
Fed X called. They were supposed to have my emergency meds to me what…last week? A different FedX was at ranch yesterday, as was USPS and UPS. No meds. Got a message on Randy’s phone from Fed X Express ( isn’t that supposed to be FASTER?) He claims he can’t make it out to the ranch. Flaky bast@rd. He’s going to try and drop it at Princeton Post Office and let THEM deliver it.
Good luck with your appointment(s).
Ah Fed Ex Express isn't the greatest here either. Not faster that's for sure and quite a few of those drivers seems to decide if they want to deliver to some addresses or not. That's been my experience with them.
Fed Ex Home is actually "Fed Ex HOPEFUL" in my mind, you just never know you may or may not get your package.
USPS - won't drive up to the house or even the barn. Packages are always a pink slip for us to go pick it up.
UPS -- those guys in brown ROCK! Always get it right.
My sympathy on the raynaud's. That freaking cold sure does BURN then it's all dead and useless and your hands are a bad joke. Hopefully you can keep the ulcers away.
While the dermatologist was shocked that the basal cell has almost completely disappeared, especially since it was so large, they still want to excise it “because we don’t know how deep it is”
She also biopsied my lip today, where the last bir is still stubbornly hanging in because she suspects it may be squamous not basal. Is that normal to have 2 different cancers at once?
Anyway mine have been years in the making. If yours is new, I’d stull do the Ivermectin. It may not be as severe as mine.
They really messed up my face. I have to go all over town like this
I really hope so. My lips hurt like an SOB. I can’t even imagine how it will feel if they excise, and of course because I live on Percocet, I get nothing for the extra pain (which it doesn’t seem to affect). The meds for depression are losing the battle today.
I miss Boone, I miss Heath. Fen is trying but he so clearly doesn’t like this. I’m going out of my way to keep him happy and stress free.
the lip pain doesn't last long. And dang it's one of those spots that if it was my I couldn't leave it alone.
Ya' know - at least Fen is trying, that's huge. You'll be home soon and Boone and Fen will both be happy.
