It’s ok. No one here does low gluten. I was just thinking of how different the attitudes are towards bread now than when I was young

My mom put a plate of white bread on the table at supper time. Then it became wheat bread. All store bought of course, my mom was not a cook. You have a gift for baking delicious bread, the staff of life!

My mom could take a round steak, pound it to smithereens, flour it up, and fry it to the consistency of it would be safer to glue it to the bottom of my shoe, walk on it for a year, rather than eat it.

I never knew steak came any other way until I left home at 17. Steak? Medium rare? Grilled? Steak—where have you been all my life????

Tonight I’m celebrating taking my stitches out. It was tricky trying to hold a magnifying mirror in the light, just right so I could see what was below my many chins. Ok, just one chin, but definitely a froggy neck. Anyway, out of my vision. I just couldn’t wait any longer, it’s been sore since they cut it and not that I don’t trust Randy, but I don’t trust him to mess with my stitches. I have suffered from him brushing my hair after shoulder surgery so no way was he touching this.

Boone got in BIG trouble tonite. We were all on the bed as I had Randy hanging a picture above the headboard. Boone tries to slyly resource guard me from Fen, who was up there first. He climbed up, stretched out and begin pinching Fen’s ear, making Fenny scream. I smacked him for the first time ever and very loudly expressed how extremely unpleasant it would be for him if he ever did it again, then threw him out back for a bit.
We’ll see if that tactic is more successful than the mild corrections he’s received in the past. I hope so, because I don’t like Fen feeling threatened in any way. I love both these guys way too much to be normal 🤪

I hope that works.

It's been my experience when one doesn't use physical correction on a regular basis an occasional smack can bring them up short.
