My son got to give a biology lesson and show some middle school kids where their food comes from today. I think there needs to be a lot more of this in schools!
I couldn't agree more! There should be an entire class on food, where it comes from, how it's grown. Heck it could even go into nutrition if it had to to keep the edu-heads happy.

Mega pain today. “Day afters” are always painful but today is especially so, since Boone enabled me to do so much more than I normally do, and prevented me from resorting to a wheelchair when I started wearing out. I did have to sit on the floor of Lowe’s awhile with him as Randy was taking much longer than I could physically tolerate, going up and down every aisle and back, perusing. My back seized up and my legs were cramping. It happened again at the farm store where we spent around an hour + but he kept me walking as for some reason standing is much harder on me and I risk falling if I stand too long. He kept me upright and going forward and got me to a bench on the far side of the store. By the time we got to Costco I gave up and stayed in the truck. I struggled getting to the booth in the Mexican place but he got me there. Today I’m paying the price for Boone doing such a good job…

Those concrete floors kill my feet and legs. I can work in the gardens and yard all day, even digging with a shovel, and I don't get more than minor cramping. But waiting in line at Lowe's...ouch.
