You may be out in the middle of somewhere but boy it sure is gorgeous. And Fen got to learn the evil moving prison means something good - he gets to explore new places and get his feet wet!! 
(middle of somewhere is way better than nowhere -- Mike Rowe - dirty jobs guy -- has had a guest on his pod cast that travels way off the beaten path calling the places she's found "In the Middle of Somewhere" Salena Zito. I kinda like that better than nowhere)

So got half of the branches down to access the roof. I think we should just pull all the chicken wire and just use the metal roofing I bought 14 years ago that he never put on the shed so the whole thing rotted…he’s brilliant and can do ANYTHING but won’t do them at home. He’s built gazebos and beautiful metal archways for the boss’ wife but I can’t get anything done here. I was shocked when he spent time helping me in the garden and tractored all the **** out of Mister’s pen. 8 years worth
and not just his. He put a cow in with him. 
I don’t know how to ask for help. He’s been super stressed and having terrible anxiety. I don’t know if it’s over his hip replacement or what, but everytime I mention that I need his help to get the rabids and chickens in there before Sept 1, he has a meltdown. I’ve been trying to get him to help me since June.
I’m really worried about being able to take care of him through his recovery because my own health is so crappy. I fed the cows and cats
and pig for him, and Mister, which is hardest because he brings in those 1600 lb square bales that are half moldy and I have to tear flakes apart to find something that won’t make Mister sick. Trying to lift the pitchfork is really hard since I tore the bicep tendon off my shoulder. The surgeon warned me that the repair is tenuous and he wont have anything to attach it to if it happens again because of all the tears in my rotator cuff. I can’t even lift my saddle, although I’ve been muscling it off, I just can’t get it up. I used to toss those things up on the top rack over my head, no problem, and carry the feed bags on my own. Now everything is too heavy. I have no more muscle mass. Damnit.
Well, back out to get the ladder and use my little chainsaw on those bigger branches. Its like a Hitchcock movie. The dropped fruit is everywhere and the flies and wasps are super loud. Wish I had some plantain. I think this is the only place on earth it doesn’t grow
Maybe Fen and I should take the quad down to the elk field and see if any is there
just in case.
If I pull the chickenwire off tomorrow, I wonder if I Can screw the metal sheeting down? I’m not real good with the screw gun but I guess I could try, yeah?

Well in the middle of a heated game of tug, Fen stopped and started intensely smelling my right hand, then he chattered his teeth. Then he did the same thing to the back of my left ear and he was really intense. Several years ago I would suddenly become woozy and disoriented. Heath used to alert to it but it was very rare and hasn’t happened for years.
I got up to feed Fen then wondered if I had just fed him. I couldn’t remember so I fed him again but only half just in case. My balance has been off and I stagger a lot lately. Idk what’s causing it but it must be something for 2 different dogs to naturally alert to it. Hoping it’s something stupid like being dehydrated. I can’t drink enough water lately, I am always thirsty… guess I will call the Dr Monday

He said maybe he can work in the roof today. I’m anxious to see if he really does or not. I need to get on the ladder and get the rest if those branches down so he can. Don’t know WHAT to do about all the fruit on top of chicken pen that didn’t give out…or the wasps…
