Ok so lets pick up where we left off.

Find a frame within the frame.

Your subject could be framed by trees, or you could take a shot out the window, or a person leaning in a doorway. Using this method add a little drama and visual interest to the pic by really highlighting the subject of the pic.

A couple examples:

The window of the barn is the frame within a frame, its a basic shot with very noticeable framing. (this is a shot taken for an acquaintance's website)

Again, very noticeable framing (excuse the very poor lighting, lol)

However, frames dont have to be the traditional box, nor do they have to completely surround the subject. The pole and concrete ridge in the bottom of this pic frame this subject, along with the diagonal shadow lines in the background. The use of diagonal lines can create some very strong dramatic images that lead the eye to a precise point, or diagonals and straight lines can e sued to accentuate curves within the shot. (The following shot and the one above are from a model shoot I was doing for a class.)

I might do this again soon. I've discovered a way that I can use my camera without having to recharge the batteries after taking just a few photos.
I'll see what I can find tonight.

I have another one where two birds are sitting together "framed" by a couple of branches, but it's a tad out of focus.

Yes your pic counts, lol.

Nice catch (and focus is not a big deal on these challenges, so go ahead and post your other pic)

I realise I'll probably never be a great photographer, but I still enjoy it. :p

lol, dont worry about the focus, thats not the point of this challenge.

It is an excellent example of natural framing!

Thank you for posting it!
