The bucket seats have been popular this year.

It’s going to be hard to pick keeper Shetland lambs this year. There’s so many really nice ones and I technically have a ram I can use on them in 2 years so I can’t even use that as an excuse to sell them. And the 4 new ewes plus any girls they might have are going to be completely unrelated to my 2 new rams as well as the yearling ram I kept over.

I reintroduced Snap, the new ram, to all the boys on Monday. It went a lot better than the first time. I’m debating letting them out today since I’m home and can put them right back in if they misbehave.

I caught a couple of them being rude to Snap on the camera while I was at work. I turned the speaker on and yelled at them and they immediately jumped, looked around, and then walked away from him. 🤣

I love your yarn results. Such dedication and knowledge. While I'm not a person to do that, I admire your talent from afar. However, I have always been a seamstress, so great appreciation for textures, colors and end results.

Keep those ewe lambs!! Keep us wishing we could do what you do. 👍

The alpaca/wool blend should be spectacular. In your hands, it will be fairy gossamer light and soft as a butterfly kiss.
Can’t wait to see what you make with it.

I finished carding the alpaca/shetland. It’s all packaged up to keep it safe from dirt, moths, and cats until I’m ready to start spinning.

It’s oh, so soft! Each batt (roll) is 2 oz. 2 batts per skein, there’s enough for 11 4oz skeins.

There is some leftover straight alpaca that I also carded up into 2 oz batts.

I did release the rams today and so far so good. Snap isn’t quite integrated into the group, but they aren’t beating him up either.
