One of my new ewes that I haven’t picked up yet lambed last night. 2 boys, a gray katmoget and a moorit gulmoget. Girls would have been lovely, but I’m not upset about boys. I like to grow out at least 1 ram lamb every year and I’d actually have a good number of ewes I could breed one of them to.

The ram she used was new to her so these lambs are completely unrelated to all of my ewes (except their mom, obviously) and all of my current ewe lambs.

The ewe that we were waiting to lamb before I go pick them up hasn’t lambed yet, but she looks ready to blow any second.

Better picture of the new guy.

We’re still waiting on my other new ewe in OH to lamb before I can go pick them up. She should go by the end of the week.

I’m off today and I finally got all the lambs tagged and vaccinated. I’m a little behind on CD&T for the older lambs, but I really hate having to do them in different groups as that means remembering where the division is and then handling and sorting them extra times.

Everyone looks good. So far no one is super flighty or hard to handle. I survived without anyone trying to kill me.

I still need to go through the ewes and finish shearing the last of them. There’s not that many left to do.
