Yup 4 hour drive...Sunday we went to a Tigers game and drove home after.
I just wish they would have won when we were there. :(
However, the boys got to run the bases after...
Did anyone see the game? Some guy jumped the wall and ran to home plate. :ep I don't know if they show that on TV.

I did not see the game but my dad was watching it when i called him and he told me "I'm gonna get back to watching the tigers get their butts(insert words not allowed here) kicked" He is a tigers fan.

BTW - I grew up in Petoskey and live in TC now

Thats actually not to far 2.5hrs from me. We were up in TC weekend before last shearing sheep.

:ya When I think of Vermont, for some reason, I think of cows.

Some many decades ago there were more cows than people in Vermont. That has changed pretty dramatically. But unlike the parts of Wisconsin I've been through (East side, top to bottom) many Vermont cows still get to go outside. Didn't see many cows in the Dairy State but did see big "permanent housing" barns. There is some of that here as well.

When you think of Vermont, you can think of Maple Syrup. At nearly 900,000 gallons (in 2010) we produce far more than any other state. Maine and New York are the second highest in the USA and came in about 310,000 gallons each. In fact, Vermont produces nearly as much as all other states combined. We are, however, eclipsed by the province of Quebec with 8 MILLION gallons.

Nope, don't know if anyone makes it here though we have a number of birch varieties. Somehow the thought of birch syrup evokes "poor man's maple syrup" when there aren't enough/any sugar maples (though some other maple varieties are also tapped). Why make it from birch sap when you can get the REAL thing! :)

Glad I found this site. We just adopted our Anatolian-Red Heeler mix puppy. He and litter mates were abandoned and just last week the vet began adopting them out. TRACKER is 3 months old and about 25 pounds. I can tell he has grown in just 1 week with us. Hes very quick to learn from us. We think the vey began some good training basics already. We also own a rabbit, and 2 cats- wh also were abandoned as kittens. Our Main Coon (Mr. T)does not welcome the puppy - and had been guarding our back door and sometimes needs pushed over so we can open the door.

:welcome

I'm guessing you won't be holding Tracker that way much longer ;) Then he'll need a flock of sheep or goats to tend :D
