Made it to Lebanon, Virginia. The engine and transmission and breaks are doing just fine. We can go up hills but not fast. The rear suspension...I felt like it started acting up yesterday, and now the truck is doing a little bit more of a squat than I remember.
Neighbor let us and our agent know that since taking the dogs and her putting up a sign, within hours of us leaving people are coming and looking in windows and messing with the does. Does leave tomorrow evening. Not soon enough!!! Stupid housing development people. My parents are combo locking the man and vehicle gates and then they'll have to climb barbed wire to get to the goats. Or trespass on people's property that are actually there and that doesn't go over well around there.

Trailer foot is down for the night, btw. We will re evaluate it in the morning. I wish my trailer locked. We're parked in a hotel lot for the night where a lot of other trucks and trailer driving cars are. If Riker or Aramis the skittish get out they will not survive or come back. Trailer is very secure if not messed with though.

Lebanon is what... 50-75 miles into Va? have to look but I am thinking 75 miles or so... You are about 100-125 miles south of us here just above Lexington Va...
Hate to tell you that traffic has been heavy-ish, on I-81 just for fair warning... it will be more congested through this area... from Lexington exits 180's up to Harrisonburg exits 240's... then very decent until you get near Winchester and I-66 that goes east to DC... Exits 290's to state line... there is only about 25 miles through WV and then into a short stretch in MD... like 10-15 miles before going into PA... Don't know exactly where you are going in MD or will you go across I-66 and go north somewhere along there.

I hope the idiot trespassers don't hurt the animals or house. Would local law enforcement be willing to drive by if neighbor called about potential burglars?
