Sage: Three years ago, I was at my new Doc's office. As he was walking me out, I noted three stunning violets on a room divider. They were thriving under the Fluorescent lites. I asked to take two leaves. Sure, he said.

I started those two leaves in water. One rotted but the other took. I now have two "unusual to me" green tinged flower violet plants. Happy happy happy.

I'd be Happy to mail you a couple of leaves. They have ruffled leaves but are not a fluffy ruffle flower.

WOW!!! That plant looks like lettuce! Salad! The flowers are just gorgeous! I used to have tables of African Violets, I raised them. But I never had one like that. Never even seen one like that! Lucky you!

WOW!!! Those are gorgeous. Sure I'd love to start a couple of leaves.
Too funny -- I just got back from running around down the hill - stopped in at a nursery to look for some pots and African Violet potting soil - and I came home with an African violet too. They had a few stuck in the back of their greenhouse - just had to bring one home.
Here's the new one -
