DH's high school has a reunion every year. The only one we missed was last year when they said we had to show proof of current vax. About 30 people max show up, and they had over 1000 in the graduating class. He graduated during the Vietnam war though so a lot of those boys didn't make it home.

His fraternity also has a reunion - 2x a year. Those guys are a lot of fun and tell all those tall tales about pranks and parties. The fraternity was disbanded in the late 70's so no young guys there either. They all still keep in touch though.

I have never gone to any reunion of my graduating class.

We had another breakdown with the riding mower and took it in to the shop last Thursday since I couldn't figure this breakdown out. I'm pretty sure it's electrical but that isn't my strong suit. We have been hitting the high spots with the push mower and weed eater but I usually cut between 6-7 hours a week with the rider so if we don't get it back fairly soon, there will be a trade in.

We only planted 3 of the raised garden beds out of 10 since we already had so much put up that we don't need to can this season. Even so the neighbors, are loving it and I have been using a lot of that Paneer cheese that I bought awhile back in garden salads. I'm eating a whole lot less meat than I used to so cheese is a big source of protein for me.

We got our mower back today so tomorrow will be an all day cutting session to get caught up with the grass. We will bring the sheep in in the next few days to confirm who will be staying and who goes to the sale. All 25 of the lambs will be going but there are a couple of yearlings that I want to take another look at. After we take the load to the sale we can move the girls that are already in condition so we can bring in Oshi and his harem which will give us a chance to sort out Wendy's lambs. We were going to take her ram lamb to the auction to avoid having to have a separate paddock to keep him but we have a good friend that thinks he would be a good addition so we will adjust for that and keep him here until ready He is out of two great blood lines.. He is skittish since after Wendy had her lambs, she wasn't about to let me catch them at that time since she was new here and not used to being handled. That has changed and she comes running every time I go into her paddock as she comes in and smells my pockets to find her cracker. :)

Magic Mike and his animal crackers! It didn’t take Wendy long to catch on!
I felt sorry for the flock yesterday and got out the animal crackers - eeeep - they all gathered round for crackers. All but the black with the white cap. Then the followed me like the pied piper! Almost needed a dog to keep them off ( though a smack with my glove worked pretty good).

ETA; we’ll whadda ya’ know, the big 50 party is in October at the Cadillac Bar and Grill in Houston. Being held at a restaurant? No big banquet hall? Told y’all everybody is dead! Or like me, just never went. Maybe I’ll go, maybe not.
I looked it up, thinking maybe they had a banquet hall. Nope. I think you are correct, most either dead or don't go.

My 50th would be next year, never been to one, don't know anyone I went to HS with. In fact the only college friend I kept in contact with was my roommate and he died from a fast acting cancer 2 years ago

Mike, we are having a hay discussion on farmerjan’s journal on how many round bales @Ridgetop needs for her sheep. She has 50 ewes. Can you add your calculations?
