We weren't sure how much milk the latest twins were getting since they seemed to be stressed out and hungry. We have been supplementing Mom's milk with additional bottles and they seem to be thriving. This was a first timer ewe yearling so she gets a pass this time. This is one of those that doesn't matter since the ewe is watching over her lambs and the lambs come to the bottle so no effort on our part. We have found that lambs raised by their dams and fed by us have the perfect personalities.

The water to our house stopped running this morning and just came back on a few minutes ago. This is liable to be an expensive fix for whoever broke the line. We found out that a farm called them yesterday to arrange for the utilities to come out and do the "before you dig" thing with the utilities. This all happened at closing time yesterday and none of them work on Sunday so he was told to wait until Monday and they would come out. Evidently he elected not to wait and went through the main water line as soon as he started.

We were planning on using our Ram pickup yesterday but the battery was dead and all the checks said it wasn't going to get any better. We took the battery out this morning and went in and got a replacement battery. I guess I haven't had to buy a battery for some time but this one was almost $300 and it was all I could carry with my left arm. My right shoulder told me "you really do not want to do this" and I listened. :)

You reminded me of the time BJs truck was dead. He had anxiety attacks, under all that bubbly personality, LOL. A dead truck sent him over the edge. He was having a meltdown panic. I calmly told him the batteries were probably dead. He was in a dither, wanted to call a wrecker and have it towed in. No, I told him that WE would take them out, go to town, buy new ones and put them in. Meltdown was immediately over, bright over the top personality was back. How do we take them out? 😃😃😃😃😃

We came back with new batteries and was taking them out of the car when a neighbor came over. He took over that operation, I got out of the way and let the guys do it. BJ never touched a wrench, but was so proud of himself for putting in new batteries.

He sold cars for 20 years and didn’t know that diesel trucks had an electric plug. I told him to have the mechanics at the Kawasaki shop he worked at to fish out the plug because cold weather was coming and the truck might be hard to start.
What plug? 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
We argued about the stupid plug and I finally convinced him to ask the mechanics. He came home, plug was hanging out of the grill and had to admit I was right.

I listened to the tape of the control tower during that incident. (its on Reddit - 31 min long - at almost 18 min, you can hear the exchange). The ACT TOLD the small airplane what to do, at least two times, prob three. The small airplane even repeated it back but was wrong! After the SW pilot aborted, the ACT told the small airplane that he need to call this number - like a 1 800 number, which means that small airplane pilot was in deep doo doo.

As far as cars went, Ron could change a flat tire, that was about it.

When the battery in Ron's Tundra died my 92yo dad (engineer/mechanic) was here. He showed Ron how to replace the battery with a new one. I documented it 🥰
