Over 40 loads later, more calls on me from the sheriff's dept than I can recall, road blocks, harassed from a drone multiple times, a court order, blizzards and ice, mud and slop, multiple equipment failures and months later unstoppable I got the road repair finished.
Yes step in front of me, it will be like stepping in front of a freight train

The rock alone is worth a small fortune... I know this will help you guys for travel... the other bas@#@ds ought to appreciate it but they won't.... That was a LOT of work... on top of their stupid costly efforts to sabotage you and the damage to your equipment....
Looking at over $30k worth of work and materials if someone from in town had to bring it in. Then the legal fees to fight the idiots cause I doubt the person paying for the material could conjure up legal proceedings himself.
I'm sure after the 1st road block with sheriff coming out they would of packed their bags and left to never come back, would be a miracle if they even came out here at all.

Now who wants round two on a different road with another crazy woman... yep there is another one I'm fighting on a different road.:th
Already got 12 loads down there and 3 weeks later she is saying one of my tracks destroyed her ditch on her corner that she dug with a shovel :gig

My apologies mam' that's like saying a tank squished a toad in its hole.

Oh Lordy another one! Eegads. We had one here - a GF not an owner. Think she called permitting and zoning on just about everyone. Sat in her BFs house on all of 2 acres smallest lot around, everyone else is at or over 10+ more acres. Called her “Mrs Kravitz” (nosy neighbor in Bewitched). Thank God her BF (who was a nice guy) sold and she’s now long gone.
You of course have way worse! LOL but looks like they make it more “fun” with the challenge! 🤣😉
The road looks awesome!

Who was the guy paying for the rock? You put the work in, fought crazy neighbors, you both benefited. How long is that road?
Great job, it sure makes it easier. Now you are doing another road with yet another crazy?

Yesterday my road was flooded in front of my farm. Someone who lives past me charged through the water, kicking up a rooster tail of water. I’m hoping that it’s drained off this morning, still dark here. Guess I’ll call the do nothing county commissioner again.

The guy paying for the rock is the one who paid couple hundred thousand or thereabouts to put power to his place doesn't live out here. I fought him in the beginning cause he was just coming in acting like he owned the place including crossing one of my properties he has no right going across. Even the power company was mad at him cause they will have to fight the terrain/weather to maintain his "one" power line going over a mile. I buried half of it underground so they wouldn't put poles in which made the power company happy.
Still don't like the bastard, but as the saying goes... an enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Yes he paid for the rock $200 a load, and I put my time in $150 an hour if I were to have charged one, lost a days wages to fighting them, cost me $150 to file and serve the paperwork. Before he came along I gave up fixing the road.

Problem with where you are is it has to go a long way for water to drain off nearest waterway and it's flat getting there. Best thing is to build up the road higher where you are.

Random thought to wrap your head around: I can dump one load of rock and make more in that than a whole day turning wrenches where I'm currently at.

Let's put it this way, he made a remark the first time meeting me asking when I was going to clean up a 5th wheel I just dragged off one of these properties we bought out here when he first came out. Was in the middle of pole barn build working my way around to disposing of it when he asked again. So for 2 years I kept the grass mowed around it, stood it straight up on it's back bumper propped up and even put a motion solar light on it so each time he drove by day or night it came on to light the trash pile up.
He got the point then.
Has been since disposed of when he finally came around wanting my help and respecting my place.
