Timeframe and signals until farrowing?

How long after 'bagging up' does it take for pigglets to show?
What other signs are there that they will arrive soon?

Do you know when she was bred? Three months, 3 weeks & 3 days is gestation +/-. My Tamworth didn't bag up until RIGHT before she farrowed - I mean HOURS before!

Unfortunately, she lives with the boars. I've been trying to get her into her own pen for about 3 weeks. She's managed to dig, crawl, plow and tear down every one of them. Tried to have them on different sides of the yard or right next to each other, nope, not good enough for her. She refuses to be away from her boyfriends.
It's driving me up the wall!
Worst yet, none of them will be trained to hot wire, they just run along the fence behind the wire being zapped... I have a pulsing fence, that's the problem. They either slip between the fence and wire, then get zapped or get zapped when they are lifting the wire. I had two wires; 3in and 6in above ground, 1in from the fence. I flagged it with white foam every 2ft on both heights, they did see the flags, but they would run the fence and then pile together in the middle and tremble. Eventually, one tore up a corner and that was the end of that huge failure.
One or two seconds is far too long of an interval and my energizer is not adjustable.



Will the boars try and kill the piglets?? They live with rabbits, chickens and dogs. They don't mind them at all when they eat their food, even the tiny 1 pound banty I have.



Someone told me their boars are nice to the newborns. Hope so.

I would worry about them getting stepped on if not eaten by the boars. Jmo. You better do something.

No piglets yet. I'm going to try putting up a wall in their pen and fencing off the boars instead of moving her.

Not all boars will try to kill the piglets but since you have more than one boar, I would worry about it. Jmo.

She had 4 piglets! Two males and two females! No idea how they will do in the cold, they kept walking around and getting lost...
