x2. That is if that is true. Will try it on my cow today. It won't hurt to try. but don't know what to watch for. lol

Ok, according to your timing thingy, my cow will have a bull. :( IF what you are saying is true. But my cow's heat cycle was pretty wonky this year I think. She is my very first cow, and she had her first calf in May 31st of last spring. A heifer. She went in heat on July 5th at noon, and the next time I saw her in heat was September 11 at midnight, the next one after that was October 12.(missed that but saw blood on her tail, so went back a few days to get the heat date.) The next heat was November 1st, which is when we AI her.
So, my cow got AI 32 days ago, and will have her blood drawn on Wednesday to be tested to see if she is bred. Won't know the results until Friday. So excited!

BTW, my cow is a Angus/Guernsey cross. Used Guernsey semen to breed her.

Ok, so our dexter birthing a bull calf for the last 6 yrs every year, bred on her first heat after birthing, doesn't fit this theme does it? If I'm understanding it correctly.
