AK huh? Sounds like a fun adventure. Definitely keep us posted and up to date. Good luck with it. Figured I might keep the quail in my garage or green house.

Welcome from Ohio, and good luck with your plans! I see a larger piece of property in your future, since what you want to do would be a bit much for a third of an acre.

I agree with @Latestarter , check your local zoning first. My town allows a lot, but pigs have to be 300' from any human dwelling. Make sure of what you are or aren't allowed, and it also helps to have a good relationship with any neighbors.

I'd say continue as you are, and add animals slowly. Make pens and pastures as big as possible, and subdivide so you can rotate and rest the land. With such a small space, it may be hard to keep it in pasture - much of it could be 'dry lot' pretty quickly if you start adding goats and/or sheep. You'll also need enough storage space for feed/hay to keep it out of the weather. You'll want somewhere to quarantine any new animal to make sure they are healthy before adding them to the general population. There are many threads here on setups for various species - housing, fencing, feeding/watering, and so on.

Good luck and keep us posted on how things go!
