Do goats have any anual/bi-anual etc that they need vet attention for? And, what are the details for worming? Is this something that I will need to be vet-subscribed?
Flu vaccination for goats? Personally, I'm not interested in anything like that. Are they afraid the next big flu outbreak will be goat flu? Crazy, I say!ArtisticFarmer said:Thanks! I heard something about a influenza vaccine. What's that? And all the dewormers I have around me uses Rumatel (Morantel Tartrate).
LOL I don't know if was Influenza or not, it started with an I. Yeah, my family isn't big on flu shots for humans either.elevan said:Flu vaccination for goats? Do you look for worms yourself? I heard of someone on here that looks at the goat poo under a microscope him/herself looking for worms. I think that's pretty interesting.dhansen said:I have a vet's number on hand for emergencies only. I, like many other livestock owners, do everything I possibly can by myself. If I had to pay a vet for most of it, I couldn't have goats....or lease not very many!
