This morning when I went out to feed, I noticed that my doe had some pasty brown mucus coming out of her nose. She also has some crusted around her mouth. At first I thought she had sneezed while chewing cud and had made a mess of herself, but on a closer look I saw it was snot from her nose. Last night, she had a good appetite, but this morning I offered her grain after she showed no interest in hay. She took one grain and bunched up her mouth, which she never does. My other doe was eating okay, but she took one bite of hay and did a similar buncing of the mouth. My bucks ate the same hay with no problem and they seem fine. What is wrong with my doe? Does she just have a cold or do I need to be concerned? Any help is appriciated. Thank you.
