I contacted two different ppl about two separate goats. They both accepted my offers of $150, Which should I buy?? Both are saying I can come pick them up today! I’m gonna describe each one and try to attach a pic.

Doe #1: Nigerian Dwarf, 2yrs, moonspotted? I can’t tell. Brown eyes, one minor scur.

Doe #2: mini Nubian, 2 yrs old, moonspotted? brown eyes, horned. Pics are from a while ago.
Has been running with a brown and white moonspotted buck, so might be bred.

I like how the first doe looks. What are your buying her for. First one looks more filled in and she has good back from the pictures.

She will be bred to a buckskin ND and milked. Neither have had babies before. I like how filled in she is as well, just a little hesitant, I think the Nubian would produce more milk🤷‍♀️

What does moonspot mean?
Coloration. See how both have those roundish lighter colored spots all over their bodies? It’s a VERY desirable color in my area, ppl are paying a lot (at least what I consider a lot) for moonspotted goats. Just this week I went to an auction and ppl were fighting over a moonspotted Nubian buck that ended up selling for almost $400.

Agree. First in better weight...from pics. Scrunchy second, but why? And bot current pic.

Hands on is best. Health considerations first.
I will be meeting the person with the Nubian doe today and will look her over, it’s not an updated pic, apparently that pic was taken around 2mo ago? Idk, seems like she would have bigger horns if she’s as old as they say she is.

I’ll let y’all know which doe will be coming home with me tonight. I’m going to go look at both. Right now I think I’m leaning towards the Nubian because she’s been running with a gorgeous buck (I’ll attach a pic if I can)
Ok I can’t seem to find the picture of the buck she’s with but he looks like this…

I know nothing about goats - but just looking at the pics (before I read the comments) I like the first one better.
As for the milking - my neighbor with goats has a few nubians that she milks and said their milk is much milder in taste. She gave me some to compare and it is. Not sure if that helps of not - just a tad bit of info.
