I ended up getting the Nubian doeling. She’s definitely not 2 yrs old, she’s MAYBE 6 months, at the most, i don’t even know. I’ve never had standard sized goats. I’m waiting on confirmation of her age from the guy I bought her from, he was very nice and informative( It was his daughters goat tho). The doe’s just a little leggy baby and soooo friendly and downright adorable.

I’m sure she will grow up great once you get her on some good feed.

Mini Nubian....so part ND. You may/may not get more milk. I hope she was NOT bred because she's a little too young for that.🤨cute girl though.
I agree. I hope she’s not bred either. The buck she was with was HUGE. A little too big to breed her I think. I believe he would knock her over if he had tried at all. Plus, don’t Nubians cycle in the fall? That would mean she would have been too young to even come into heat last fall, so most likely not bred. 🤷‍♀️ this is my first standard sized goat, I have no idea what I’m doing sometimes.

I’ll post a pic from her topside/back tomorrow. She seems like she could be bloated, not sure.

IF she's a mini Nubian, she's not a full sized goat. Plus being part ND could cycle outside of seasonal. Nubians are know to "extend" their seasonal breeding dates on either side. 🤷 Just watch carefully.

Enjoy her. She'll do well for you...they're generally real people friendly 😁

morning update:
Did a full check over, I will be worming her today. Her hooves are horribly overgrown (at least compared to the rest of my goats hooves which are neatly trimmed at all times), I don’t think she’s ever had them trimmed at all. The side walls are curling in underneath her feet. She doesn’t walk funky or anything, so I’m glad I checked when I did. I will be getting that taken care of as well today, will try to post a before and after pic as well as a couple other pics of her general cuteness🥰
