    Pineapple Sage: safe?

    I just found this link. It was hard finding anything specifically about pineapple sage. I found some links that said you should plant it in the garden to avoid rabbits eating your plants lol. Our bunnies seem to like this. Anyhow, this link lists it as safe...anyone know for sure...

    Pineapple Sage: safe?

    Is pineapple sage aka salvia elegans okay for rabbits? It is not a true sage but in the salvia family. It is safe for people and our rabbits find it quite tasty. Just wanted to check the safety for bunnies before letting them have anymore lol.

    That is good to know. We have a low marshy area in one of the front acres. It has cat tails and pampas grass and all other sorts of stuff growing there.

    Banana Leaves

    In Asia the yellow chinese banana (Musella lasiocarpa) is grown for feeding livestock so I'm guessing the leaves are safe. A lot of also people steam fish and rice in banana leaves.
