personally i don't think my bottle kids ever bit me unless i had a bottle. the biting was usually just from them doing that jab movement (like how they bump momma's udder) at my hand and i get a handful of teeth.
there is a petting farm in a town near me and the guy had this pony that would...

i'm thinking of getting two potbelly piglets. i've raised pigs for meat before but never pb's. i've read that they should have a special mini pig feed but at tractor supply here the feed was almost $16 for a 25 pound bag. they had "sow and pig" feed that was $13 and "hog feed" that was $12 and...

may 1, 2011 at 2:25 PM i went out to the barn to bring the doe out to the kidding stall because i saw she had a snotty wohoo that morning. so i ate breakfast, went out to the kidding barn and tossed about some bedding hay. walk over to the other barn where the goats are and she's not there... uh...
put her on the stand and find a stool or something to stuck under her belly so she cant lay down. make sure it is exactly up to her belly so she cant just lay on it.
i have never had to do this. wish i could help more.
good luck!
just read this on her website:
"Bucks kids will be castrated at 4 weeks of age. After this they will be sold as wethers at $50 each. "
which if they are wethered that would make a lower price and i could keep them and sell all my saanen kids for income. instead of keeping a wether to train.
here is the ad page:
