Yesterday was rough, started off great for the most part. When we got here the stove didn't work the owner coming to fix today, my youngest got hurt and needed stitches on one of her toes. And this morning one of the toilets was rings decided to die so clean water went everywhere but got that take care of. Will deal with that. Plan today is maybe school and mostly unpacking laundry and running by the old house to get some more things and maybe do some laundry. (My husband paid rent on both houses for October so I can move over as slow as needed or as fast). To be honest now that I am thinking more about it forget school lol I don't know how baby girl going to do today. Dr said the stitches can come out in seven days. Another good thing about living here the hospital is only 20 mins away compared to the hour it would have been.

Sounds like overall it is the best move you have had to make... some times it is a rough start, but I think this is going to make you all very much happier... Thankful he paid the rent on both, not having to move in 2 days is soo much better... and you can get things put where you want and not all piled up to try to work around boxes and such.
Work at getting organized and start school in a day or 2.

Well so far still packing and unpacking had some hick ups with the house. Since no one has lived in it for two years it's had some issues. So yah fun stuff lol. I don't see a garden happening this year in time for fall but that's ok. We try to get the ground ready for spring. So far way to worn out to ever get that going lol. Started some school back with the kids. Still need to go to the old house and get some more things. It's gonna be good one day.

Lol just a few times lol I think this is our 6th move in our marriage lol
We moved a lot when I was growing up. Then dh and I moved a lot when our children were small. Your boxes in the spare room is one technique. My main method is I'd pack by room destination: BR 1, #1 then BR 1, #2, etc. After everything was moved into the new apartment/home and we had to go back to work we would open up and unpack at least one box, each, after supper every evening.

I'd dread moving at this point, as we've been in our current home for 18 years...
