I hope she takes your advice. That’s a big powerful dog and she needs to be able to control it.

The least she should do is train it! Zoo keepers do train their animals. She could start with operant conditioning and training. That would be things I believe they teach. Trainers are Sea World and also the San Diego Zoo use it. As well as quite a few LE detection trainers.

Ultimately I think niece’s parents will wind up with the dog which is problematic as well. As authoritarian as it sounds I wish it was harder for people to acquire certain breeds. Or dogs at all. Five will get you twenty that Uncle Hubbs will get a tearful call about Pup since he has a ranch.

Frimplepants had a solid black ram lamb and a black ewe with just a little white on her head. A lady from church came over to hold a lamb this morning. She was so excited. She held the black lambs while I scrapie tagged them. Then she got to hold Cleo’s lambs. She sure enjoyed it.

There is a Bible verse where Jesus says, “My sheep know my voice and come when I call.”

My friend got to see me call and sheep come running off the field. No, I’m not Jesus and greedy sheep were running for something to eat, but they don’t respond to other people. But point illustrated. I totally have a better understanding of that verse.

Those are some nice lambs. Ewe looks like she’s got milk for both too.
As for the husky pup that’s a big ol nope. Not taking that on. I hope for the dog’s sake that things get figured out. Maybe it will all go better.

Second generation recordable. I will sell as commercial rams or take to auction. I’m only recording ewes, then breed to registered rams. But once I get my ewes to the registered generation, then any rams produced will be registerable.
