Ringo left bred ewes behind. The game ain’t over yet.but I want a ram...
Or if Dessa has a ram, if you want it, it’s yours.
Either way, you’ll have a very good ram. We’ll just have to see how all this plays out.

Bennett and Peggy are unloading a few cattle up at the front. Their 40 acres has about 150’ of road frontage, right at my front gate. Sentry is doing he’s part, barking his head off. Sheba went up there long enough to say, “Oh, it’s y’all” and come halfway back. Buford ran up fairly close, barking, decided to let Sentry be the front dog and came halfway back to bark from the safety of closer to home.
If I’m at the fence, Sentry is all friendly to them, and they can pet him. If I’m not there, it’s game on.
Baby Watch Report: no Dessa baby this morning.

Bennet and Peggy are gone, Sheba is still at her halfway point by the driveway, scanning the field for danger. Buford raced to place himself between the flock and herd of cow monsters that moved down the fence line. Sentry? No idea. He’s probably still up front where he can see dangerous trucks coming. Sheep are guarded.

Today was momentous. I’ve been gone today AND left the ewes and lambs out on the field AND left Buford out too. I have been putting the sheep up when I left and leaving Buford out. Today was THE BIG TEST.
Buford gets a 100!
Lambs, ewes, Buford, are all ok. I’m really proud of him. He’s doing great. I keep watching for an “attack of the stupid” and I’ll probably keep my eye on him until he’s 2, because stupid sometimes happens.

@canesisters this is for you and all us Valentine’s Day ain’t no fun, folks.
I busted into that candy. After a month on low/no calorie and carbs, I ate 3 pieces and went, Yuck. It may not taste good right now, but it’s the thought that counts.

When I got home, I let Sentry in. It’s been awhile since he got house time. He is snoring in the floor at my feet. He loves his house naps.

I talked to @Devonviolet a couple of weeks ago. They are doing good. They keep a few goats now to raise their meat. She has so many food allergies that this is working well for her. They are still loving the country life.Have you been in touch with @B&B Happy goats lately? Wondering how she's doing.....
