The backhoe for my little tractor was at $6700. You can get a LOT of dirt and gravel for that!

True, I got my tractor with a backhoe so I could dig out the pond. I've used it for other things as well but most of the time is sits under a cheesy "shelter" (since the Harbor Freight portable garage didn't last even through 1 winter, erected in the fall). I leave the flail mower on most of the time. Rear weight for loader work and mowing when needed. Speaking of which, I need to go mow the fenced acre, the alpacas have more than they need and don't eat every type of plant anyway.

We had a black lab when I was a kid that loved to eat turtles. I still don't know why some dogs do that. If he'd switch to rattlers you'd be great. If he's as fast a mongoose that is.

Wish we'd gotten a backhoe with ours or maybe a decent harrow - instead we got a mower/brush hog - that we couldn't use because of the slopes. Sold that part.

Nova, triplet sister to Nora and Tiny, had twin rams last night. Chocolate brown and a reddish brown, they are so cute!
That’s 9 lambs in 5 days, 2 ewe lambs died, 2 survived, and 5 rams. Still 2-3 more to lamb.

I am loving all the color!
The triplet sisters are out of Miranda and Ringo. Miranda was black and white spotted with black speckles on the white spots. Cooper is throwing lots of color.
