Going out to feed Spot the bottle lamb Saturday morning, Sugar had twin lambs! After Lauren fed Spot she got to hold a newborn, just hours old. She couldn’t stop talking about the lambs.

@Ridgetop and her husband came in Friday night also. We cooked lots of good food, visited a lot and checked on lambs. Saturday evening right before dark, Aerial had twin lambs! Aerial is the only registered daughter I got out of old Ringo, she was born after he died. So her lambs are special to me. She had a white ewe with freckles on her nose and a flashy ram, red with white back legs and a white spot on his head.

Tex Kats has a conference in May and members can take sheep to sell. @Ridgetop suggested that I take that flashy ram lamb to sell. She sure has good ideas!

Nope. That butter crust was a FAIL all the way. Nobody ate the crust, including me. Just scraped the pie off!

It was a couple of counties to the east of me. I just got lots of rain. There is a tornado alley maybe 20-30 miles from me, to the northeast. Funny how certain areas seem to have more tornadoes than others.

In April of 2019, 2 tornadoes a F2 and F3 crossed trails in Alto, Texas and did a lot of damage. There are still wide swaths of dead standing pine trees and lots of downed trees in the forests in that area.

Got 1 1/2” of rain yesterday. December 23-24 I got 3 1/2”, this makes 5” in 3 days. It’s sloppy out there! I’m BORED! Cooking some bacon, gonna make some cream biscuits for brunch. Set out some chicken breast to make quesadillas for supper.

Son had plans to take his big tractor and implements to his land and do a bunch of work. Too muddy so that ain’t happening. So he sleeps. I don’t know how he does it, that would drive me bat sh!t crazy.

Laundry is done, including the 5 loads he brought home. House is fairly clean. Gonna rain some more tomorrow.
