Yesterday I took Sentry to the vet, ram all kinds of tests on him. Blood in his urine, possible small stone in his bladder and loaded with hookworms. Treating him and other dogs for hookworms. And he got a rabies shot.

Taking Sheba and Buford to the vet today for rabies shot. I practiced with them both this morning getting in the truck. Lots of praise. Both have been known to fear poop, while it’s no big deal, it does make for a smelly ride! I carry plastic grocery bags, so can scoop it up. I’m hoping Buford will follow Sheba’s lead and jump in.

Carson was having a fit, so let him ride with Sheba when I moved the truck to air up tires.

Sentry was having his insistence stay by the gate and try to squeeze through, fit, every time I cracked open the gate. Finally I let him through and he ran to the back door. He’s sleeping in the crate now.

Appointment is at 2:00, this is gonna be interesting.

Big Bad Bubba, 165 lbs, used to have to be loaded into the car by 3 people. UNTIL we started having him collected for semen storge. By the 3rd trip he would leap into the back of the Explorer and when we turned into the vet parking lot start doing a happy dance in the back of the car. If we were unloading the back of the car and left the hatchback open he would leap in and wait for his trip to the pleasure palace!

Rika, Angel, and Ozel still have to be lifted in, but they only weigh 115, 135,and 55 lbs. ;) Too bad you don't have a loading ramp to walk them in.
