A Journaling sub forum You've got 3 or 4 journals on here now all started within the last few months.

Excellent idea Elevan. It's good to hear about other's experience and the people with their journals (like you) when just putting their every day occurrence in a journal, not really thinking about it because they are living it, help others understand animals, how to do things differently, etc.

Maybe I should start a journal. How a Newbie with NO experience learns about Livestock. Could go there for a chuckle! But would be interesting to see after a year or so how much I learned.

Best teacher is life itself!

Go for it The progression from research to owning and first hand learning would make a good read.

I have a question/suggestion. Why doesn't BYH have that handdy little google search box at the top right hand corner of the page. I use it alot on BYC when I'm trying to find an old thread, or look up info. I wish that we had this feature here on BYH. Please!

Great question! We're working on updating our search system. In the interim we may add the google search, but that's undecided.

How about chickens, I know they are not a herd, but I love the people on here. It would be great to ask people about chickens.

Besides BYC which is a sister site to BYH, you do see some chicken discussion in the other animals section.
