if you are still takeing ideas i would like something like BYC dose with Online Poultry Show like something like that

Sure, we're always open to suggestions, and that's a good one. How would we set it up with all the different animals represented here?

i do not know i just thought that would be good to do because i really like that part of BYC

It could be set up in a similar fashion I would think with some tweaking of the category rules.

Like...the contest has to be labeled as: Animal Type - Contest Name - Ending Date (or running date)

I'm sure that there are a few other things that would need tweaked but I think it could work...

I can actually envision a couple of different online show contests for BYH when I really think of this.

Kid of the Month

Lamb of the Month

Biggest Litter


Best Garden

Best Arrangement of Flowers or a Colorful backyard.


And definitely with Halloween coming up, Best Pet Costume. Or even Christmas picture, like a Christmas Card.

We could really have fun with this here. Hope these suggestions help.

How about a card catalog of sorts for recommend reading in the different areas. Like, breeding, feeding, general health. I am looking through Barnes and Nobel and Amazon but would like a list recommended by those who know the book and the animals. I would think there would be others out there looking for the same info as well. (Nifty for BYC too )

We're currently working on recommended reading lists of threads on the forum.

We're currently working on recommended reading lists of threads on the forum.

I'm looking for books to have a good reference library on hand. Going to the forums is not always the fast way to get info in an emergency.
