Just as a snack or to supplement pellets and hay? Are there any seeds that rabbits can't have?

Seeds and grain aren't really good for rabbits. Best to stick with hay and pellets

I do give mine grass and some weeds and vegetables, though. Lately henbit is growing week. Mine like it.

I do give them weeds like henbit, clover and dandelion but i just got a big bag of birdseed and wondered it might work for a little snack. ?..I guess I could give it to the chickens.

Of course your chickens will love you!

While it may be OK to give rabbits small amounts of seeds, I'm not positive, I know they can live quite well on pellets alone or pellets and hay. I just see no reason to take any risks. I don't believe their digestive system is designed for seeds and grain. If you don't use herbicides, there are many weeds that they enjoy.

On the occasions I attach the grass catcher to my mower, I normally give the rabbits a handful and dump the rest in my chicken runs. My yard is well over 50℅ weeds, dandelion, clover, chickweed, purslane, etc. My goal is 100% low growing weeds that flower so I never need to more again! Yeah, I don't live in the suburbs.

I have been wrong before.

I give the does a bit of BOSS everyday, while they are nursing. Hay itself seems to be a treat to them.

As a treat, go ahead. It is like trail mix for bunnies. But as a substitute for pellets, no. It does not have the neccessary nutritional value.

Rabbits digestive systems can bo so touchy I would not want to risk it. I stick with pellets and hay and maybe a tiny bit of apple for the adults.
