Honey will crystallize over time. Water bath to warm up jar and it will be fine. It has to do with balances of different sugars.

A bee will fill frames up with mostly honey and put pollen in the corners. Pollen is fine to eat but I don't know if it affect clarity of honey. I ate my as comb honey and left the pollen corners for bees to reclaim.

I knew about the crystallization (my steam oven actually has a setting to "fix" that), I know about the pollen - but never heard of it left in the honey. Live and learn?!

Another single this afternoon. FF and single buckling. SHE read the book! Kid is up and nursing often, talking to mom, following her around, bouncy.🥰 Weather cool, not cold. Almost done for night -- at last! Just a bottle offering for the little girl shortly. She's strong and working at nursing, good suckle on bottle. Mom had graIn, plenty hay/water in pen and by morning hope to have a team. Full udder, hungry kid, me holding her still -- hopeful she'll become a willing mom.🤞🤣

Been a long day....hay, feed runs. Unload. Animal issues😵‍💫

Congrats!

Two more girls for me today! FF - I was kind of surprised at twins. She was hiding them well. Smart babies - up and nursing on their own in less than 10 minutes. Crazy kids, lol.

That puts me at 11 bucklings / 10 doelings.

At least two (maybe 3) more kiddings to go.

I have one "maybe" bred FF. Wasn't convinced she was bred and noticed a discharge one day. I caught a sample and P tested her. Test was positive but if she was just slipping a pregnancy she would still have hormones on board. I'll test her again to get a better idea. If bred - she's 8 weeks away and no belly at all.

Congrats on the doeling rescue. I hope mom figures things out. Bottle babies, heck lambing took it out of me this time. My good knee isn’t anymore. Not as bad as the other and rest should fix it. Weight loss wouldn’t hurt either. Hubbs is a three meal a day, load up that plate guy. The metabolism fairy that smote me with the ability to suck calories out of the floor as I walk across it gifted him with a fast thyroid, presto he can eat whatever and as much as he wants. Ahoy the good ship Intermittent Fasting is about to set sail.
SUCK CALORIES OUT OF THE FLOOR! Hahaha! 😂😂😂😂😂

Pretty much same weather here. Looks like a touch of rain end of week, maybe?

Hot coffee....baby bottle warming....chores and off to pick up new chicks. Seemed like a "wanna" when I sought them out -- today it's a "why now?":idunnoo_O:hu what was I thinking? we never learn.

10pm feed/milking...Not thinking this doe wants to be a mom....waaay more resistance than I've seen. Not mean to baby, just doesn't want to be nursed. Giving it one more day 🤷🤞😞. At least I have does I can get enough to feed her, no replacement stuff to buy. But --- still trying.
