. So home at just got dark. Feed chores, find goat in shed kidding. Set up in pen, bottled fed other kid, re-pen some for night, after out all day....inside, settle chicks for night with heat, etc. They're 7-10 days old so, feathering. Will set up in brooder today for their temp home for couple weeks. Back in/out checking kidding - ended with single doe, blk/wh spotted. Clean up all that...gave last bottle babe feeding at 10pm. Made sure new one was nursing and tummy full before I came in for night. Headlamps are the bomb!! Tired and asleep within minutes of getting in bed!!

I have 3 sons and youngest daughter with learning disabilities. 3 boys have language related LDs and but are "gifted" so first boy's problem was not diagnosed in time so no special help for him. Excelling in 4-H activities gave him the self-confidence the LD took from him. He finished college with 2 degrees. 2nd boy was diagnosed at age 4, grades K through 3 in Special Ed then transitioned. Honor student in high school. Co;;ege degree. 3rd boy diagnosed but were not sure of correct disability. Thought it was hyperactivity related so home schooled for first year of high school. School had a special program that allowed him to attend some classes in school and home school others. Worked great. Chose to go to college for electrical Certification and is a Lineman. Youngest daughter is adopted and had learning disability related to Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Worked with her, counselors, tutors, and she finished her AA degree in college. So proud of all my children. Oh yes, eldest daughter was high achiever throughout school and has her MA in education. Now she hates her job as a teacher. One guess why! LOL
