Temps dropped last night...mid 30s which is way below norm for time. 64 inside so turned on a heater to improve that! Will barely hit 60 outside, again below norm. At least a week of winter revisit. Will use my farmer onesie over jeans. BRRRR.

Back to a job today inside at least. Will be a short day as I have 1:30 apptmt. No problem for working this week, rest of week will add rain to these temps so outside farm work is mostly out. Might as well do jobs, I guess. Hear the enthusiasm?

I've had coffee, breakfast, was up too early again.

Dandelion woke me up. Hungry lamb, she sucked down 4 ounces. I got coffee, she got a diaper, ran around, is in my lap taking a nap now. Got Chris and his brother coming this morning to help me move heavy stuff to portable building. Dandelion can go outside for the day, with her mom and brothers. Drizzly weather starts tonight, next couple of days.

Reina got hooves trimmed yesterday. She behaved herself. Front feet, no problem. For back feet I used a twitch and she did not try to kick farrier’s head off, or even kick at all. I worked her in round pen for about 15 minutes, ram lounge whip up and down legs, under hocks, trying to get her to kick. No kick. Making improvements.

Well it's Disney day!!!!
I'm sitting in the airport, so far the flight is delayed 24hrs (& counting).
BUT - it's a day or of work & hanging with my best friend

(....missing my critters already though)

OH MY GOSH!!! I MEANT 2 HRS!!!! We were due to fly out at 7. Finally got on board at 10... got into the room just after 1AM!

It was a great trip. The weather was wonderful - 80's and breezy. We ate VERY WELL , accidently met Mickey, rode some fun rides and walked until we were MISERABLE (roughly5-6miles a day!)

IF I ever get caught up here at work, I'll post some picts.

@Baymule Home COVID test was negative. A new batch of purple and yellow flowers started blooming last week that caused allergies to go haywire. I will be back to work tomorrow.

I don’t have allergies, so I don’t know how that feels. But I can sympathize that a stupid yellow or purple flower can make you feel so bad. Attack flowers.

Fresh, hot coffee!! Lots of it. A cuddly fleece shirt over a thermal one. I do not like cold!! Only the chickens are moving around out there. Feels like winter has returned. . Poor me.....

It’s 59F with high of 78F and 90% rain today. No farm work today! I guess I’ll do laundry.
