Coffee is hot, help yourself. Was awake half the night, again. Getting annoying😵‍💫sleepy, go to bed, then mind begins a review of everything. Got up, wrote a list. Back to bed, tossed, finally to sleep.☺️ 4 am, wind, rain, pounding - awake😵‍💫 then, back to sleep. Up at 8. This isn't restful... :old :idunno 😖

Just getting first cup. It's overcast and WET out there. Well, the fresh cut lawn looks good! 🤣

Goats are in barns, looking around -- wet toes? Wet grass? Thanks, we'll wait. Chickens? Looking for worms after rains. Horses, don't care, out in wet stuff. It's gonna be stuffy hot today! Front coming and MORE rain with it, this afternoon. Maybe I can get a nap!! 🙄

Pausing to dry off, cool down & have iced coffee & a water.
Been staging materials & mowing grass since 7. 80° & 94% humidity.
Waiting for my friend to arrive with chain link panels so we can build Birdie's Southern Sauna Suite.
I'm convinced she does this on purpose.... lay between me & a fan - and FART.

Woke up this this again this morning…

It’s my cross to bear.

We went on a sniffari yesterday. He had to

wear his goggles because of his allergies. They helped immensely!

He doesn’t have much endurance and was limping just slightly on way home. He did this last time as well. Spoke with breeder and we both think it’s Panosteitis, which is basically growing pains, inflammation of the long bones. He will outgrow it but it kind of puts a damper on him riding with me this summer. He also gets very hot, very fast, getting shovel tongue and seeking shade under the sagebrush (tick city 🤢, thank God for Seresto collars). I am assuming its because of his very thick, very heavy, lush coat. We will have to learn how to deal with it, at least until we see what his adult coat is like. He’s so big it’s hard to remember he’s just a baby dog still, 9 mo next week.
Now I am enjoying my coffee while he torments a bug. What a way to do life 😂

Good Morning ALL!! Happy MONDAY!!!!!!
On Fri night FH and I put the required deposit down on the building we are going to use for the ceremony and reception next JUNE 15, 2024.
He had to work on Saturday but we went out to eat that night then yesterday we spent the entire day (well almost the entire day) without our phones buzzing, ringing. We ended up getting PIC ATTACHED for cheaper than what the website said it was so now later this week have to move the fire pit and dog kennel (friends will help FH do that) in order to set it up on a nice even spot.
