Oh.... :celebrate .....bought battery chainsaw! Gave DD money for her to pick up for me when she went to work last night. She'll get her discount on it and saved me a trip. Woohoo -- more work can be done. Ya know those fence lines!! Y'all inspired me.

DD has one, bought a few years back...a Stihl, that she paid a LOT for then. I'm getting one that won't take my entire retirement funds . If I get 2-3 yrs from it, I'm good!

It’s been pretty hot for the rabids lately. I wanted to get one of the does bred but think I should wait til end of month so she kindles closer to Sept when it’s cooler.
Big disappointment last night, hearing that my bro in law now isn’t coming. I was so hoping to have some help and company, and cooking for 3 makes a lot more sense that going to all the effort for just the 2 of us. Me and my dumb hopes. Phfffft!

Need coffee. Getting crabby.

ALL that is Roses???? WOW!

I'm sorry your BIL isn't coming.
Have you considered cooking for 6 and freezing 2 meals for later? It's just me and I never learned how to cook for less than a crowd. Pretty much anything that isn't single-serving (eggs, salad, etc) gets divided - 1/2 to the freezer and the other half is meals for several days.

Mornin ya'll.

That reminds me. Along with all the other meds you can't get yourself anymore, Bravecto is on that list. You have to take them TOO the vet and they must get their shots before receiving the Bravecto. Also the $30 for the vet to give the dog the rabies instead of just selling it. I remember the rabies vac being sold in a vile of 20 doses. Every time I had a litter of puppies, I'd give all my dogs that were old enough a shot and every friend or brothers dog a dose until I ran out. It spoiled by the time they needed the next dose and I had to buy all the extra anyway.

https://sierrapetmeds.com/ I buy Bravecto here. It’s in Australia, takes a month to get it here and no prescription. Cheaper too. Shipping is $4, to get here faster, but it still takes 3 weeks.

My vet charges $13.50 for a rabies shot, given by a tech.

Up late watching The Chosen on TUBI. Can't seem to get it through my 1970's trained brain that I CAN turn off ANY 'TV' show and finish it later  Aired-up a low tire and was slightly late to work. Somehow... NOTHING had happened at work yet, waiting on me to open the gates - LOL
Safety Rep on site today and everyone is losing their mess about it. :idunno Company preaches "Safety is our Culture" and all that gobbley-gook ... so why should today be any different from yesterday or tomorrow???

Anyhow - wearing my everyday high viz yellow and doing my stuff as usual

Coffee appreciated. Will need today - bed late, up early. :idunno what's new? Had a flat on way home yesterday. No spare, tools, jack with 😡 DS had been in the trunk, working wire, didn't put back. Had DD bring him and all else to me...10 miles fm home, remember my truck still down! Sooo, the two rear tires being replaced tomorrow, to match new fronts from 3 wks ago, plus doing alignment -- dropping in AM at 5:30am, as DD gets off work then, across street from. 😖 She's off Thu so, will take me to pick up. :D =D. Plus....the psgr side window decided to not go up yesterday and we have rains later today. Motor runs, so glass off track. I covered with heavy plastic just now. Work today, no time to take door apart this morn...DS will do after pick up tomorrow.

But good news is I'll be home to set up and use my new chainsaw tomorrow. 🤣 Always something to do here. Life is about flexibility.:old:lol:

Time for another cup and chores. 😂

My truck windows got wonky and wouldn’t work, then started working again. I guess they need new motors, but other more important things keep getting in the way.
It’s 6:49 and I’m still slouching around drinking coffee!
Sheep are getting restless, pasture is slowly cooking under the scorching sun. Why don’t the weeds die? I’ll graze the ewe crew in the yard again, Cooper and girls in the diminishing field. Need rain.
