I use Bravecto on my dogs too.
That's the only thing I and FH use for our dogs. Speaking of dogs our girl Sophie has to go to the vet on Sat AM to get shots and a physical but I not saying anything to her about it. Won't even talk to FH about it in front of her. She's going to be getting a bath either tomorrow or Friday though and what fun that's going to be!!!! I'll end up looking like I was taking one too! I keep telling FH we need to get one of those hard plastic wading (baby) pools so it's easier to give them baths OUTSIDE than to do it in the house but according to him the water would be too cold.
BTW- GOOD MORNING everyone! Happy WEDNESDAY!!! 1/2way through the week and slowly creeping towards the end of July.
School hasn't even started back up here (sometime next month) yet the stores have Halloween displays out already.

@Mother Hen what kind of dog is Sophie?
I'm currently hauling my Birdie (boxer) to work every day. In an effort to not give my coworker ANYTHING to complain about, she gets a quick bath (back, head, pits and hiney) at least once a week. With such a short coat, I can get her wet/soaped & rinsed almost before the hose water gets cold - and almost dry with just a quick toweling off.

All that behind Fen is rose prunings!!!
Those are MASSIVE rose "bushes"!!!!

but according to him the water would be too cold.
Not if you fill it the morning before, it will heat up just fine in the hot air and sun that day and the next. Of course if the dog is hot, she may just go lay in it to cool off anyway.

ALL that is Roses???? WOW!

I'm sorry your BIL isn't coming.
Have you considered cooking for 6 and freezing 2 meals for later? It's just me and I never learned how to cook for less than a crowd. Pretty much anything that isn't single-serving (eggs, salad, etc) gets divided - 1/2 to the freezer and the other half is meals for several days.
Yup! They were insanely overgrown. For some reason, roses do really l, really well in my yard. But not at boss’ house.

Living 4 hr from town, freezer space is at a premium. I even can a lot of our meat. Guess no pies for TheMan. 🙄

Need to IV the coffee this morning. Was awake all night clawing at my skin. Damn mosquitoes are biting me THROUGH my clothes!! I’m about to completely lose my mind! o_O

Fenny surprised me this morning. I finally fell asleep around 4 am. At 4:30 he was booping my feet to wake me up. He bugs the rabid he can reach, all the time so I was shocked when he woke me then led me outside to show me the wind was blowing really hard and the rabids had no where to get out of it. I usually have a sheet clipped to the East side of the cage and just in front of the feeders to give them a little wind break and protection from the morning sun. The wind had whipped up out of nowhere and the sheet was off. I pinned it back on and he was happy.
These English Shepherds are fanatic about rules and order. Even Fen is no exception.
Gud boi Fen!

I just woke up from a nap. I guess I just really wore myself out.

Hahaha, Anatolians were pitiful this morning. Sentry of course, he’s been house spoiled in the AC to escape the heat. Sheba and Buford usually go in the front yard around noon or 1:00 so they can go under the porch. Not today! They were begging to go to the front yard early this morning. Haven’t seen them since. 😀😀😀😀😀

I need to go check the sheep’s water. They have 5 buckets and it’s been so hot, they empty them by about now.

AHA!! she almost has to you trained! Has this made her happy? She ok if you leave your office?

Did pretty good today -- remembered to stop for diesel on way to work, so I will have plenty of tractor fuel tomorrow. Fast, heavy rain in afternoon today but window plastic was fine. 😁 So home all day tomorrow with no transportation. Pick up car 4:30ish. Going to bed early and HOPE I sleep. Leaving out 5 in morning. 😖. Chores after I get home about 6....right on time. Hope weather is good.
