Didn't get up early! 7am alarm

Went to get car when supposed to be ready. Still where I left it at 5am . It was 5:15pm & had made apptmt 2 days before....needless to say, I was not happy. But they did take it in shop, put the 2 new tites on & did alignment! I left at 6:30. Screwed up other things I had planned but...

Came home to some goats in front yard

Put them into a field, then worked until dark to ADD more hot wire there....burn your a$$ ...as I started back to house a light came on at the tractor dash. Shut it down and walked back to house. This morning, I'll get out there and check that out. Finishing coffee first.

Took care of a few things inside, and as checking outside temps, found DS finally working on my truck again. About time!!! It needs to be fixed OR -- I need to consider options. Not happy at the moment.

So....I'm trying to calm myself before deciding the next of several "gotta do" to tackle first. I'm awaiting the goats hitting the new hot wire, so I can have a laugh!! . Then THAT can be an ok for today situation. I'll use the chainsaw to cut limbs in big field, allowing MORE hot wire to be run, to keep them contained. If that's what I need, so be it. Full day ahead, it seems.

Ya know, there's an ABUNDANCE of grass, trees, Forbes etc, inside the fence -- outside better???

Contained. Smaller area but, plenty to eat, drink, etc.

I'll finish that big field today. Surprise guys -- you need to stay PUT where I want you. Games are over.

Sheep are out - did that right after feeding the dogs - wanted them to have pasture time while it's still cool.
Finally just this morning got the path report on my arm - clean margins it's been a long week and a half waiting for that. Thank God it's in time for the weekend - I can enjoy the weekend w/o the up and downs of what if.
Smile is doing great and growing FAST! She's still super cute - of course at only a week old. Lamb count is still at one, those other girls are getting bigger and baggier.

Stopping by while I have a second. All is good here. Been busy with work and running lately. Actually did both of those today, not sure how. Worked four hours this morning, taking care of horses, then went and ran 16 miles. Been a crazy experience getting into this whole marathon training thing.

New chainsaw is amazing! you feel empowered. Yeah, I'm cutting limbs in way, young trees not wanted...and thinking "lot of cleanup laying there!".....bad side, aftermath of giddy power.

But I won't have to be smacked in head with limbs while on tractor. I won't have issues running this hot wire...it will be clear to see and shock! Faster process than a hand saw. . Yeah, loving new toy. Light weight, fast, strong action. Kobalt.

A ditto day...weather, days activity. I do need to set up a catch pen, run chute to work some feet, deworm, etc. Oh, those jobs! But plenty of dewormer in stock and this time of year I can use valbazen on all dairy...dried off and not bred.

No rain predictions for weekend, might do some field cutting late Sunday -- if hot wire gets done today. Wire critically needed now to move goats.

The vision of Mini horses striding through the pasture and deciding that something is in her way then cutting it down with her handy battery chain saw made me smile. You need a holster for that thing, Quick Draw. Hope it helped to get rid of frustrations from yesterday!
