I just got home with it! 🤣🎉👍 So glad it's over.

Looked at 2005-2018 Ford's, Chevy, you name it. From fully loaded to strip down. Set my limits on $$. Looked all week, on net too -- became confusing. Picked a used dealer, with 5 star BBB, exc people reviews and 3 trucks to choose...plus one that had just come up there as a curious look. Had someone take me 45 miles there & leave me. I would buy or walk home 🤣

Bought the oldest one, the "curious" to see. 😳 Wrote a check and I am thrilled. Alas, not 4WD. Otherwise, perfect for me. Way below budget. Carfaxed...no accidents & yrs of dealer serv records, shows the 109, 642 miles are correct, original. Interior like new. Power Dr/wdws/mirrors, cruise, AC/heat, radio, power ph outlet, full bed w/liner. Runs like a scared rabbit. Such emotional release to walk out & have a truck that's driveable!

My ...1997 Dodge Dakota...🤣...& Favorite color

Now I can arrange for other truck's repairs, pressure valve has released. Have time to find right mechanic. And $$ unspent to buy more fence, truck to haul it home. Go pick up that tractor tiller attachment I bought. Moving on now.🤣🤣👍🥳

Too wet & rains coming to use that tiller but, it'll BE HERE when it's time. (Plus it was on sale😁🙄). Cost almost as much as the truck.

Will you get stickers to make the truck look like a lady bug? Little sproing-y antenna to glue on at the top of the windshield?

@Alaskan I'll search the internet!!! 🤣

Yep...rains today, more & heavier Tues AND again Fri/Sat 😳🤐. Better find some waterings too. At least it's basically mid 50s all week. Holding my breath for the Canadian cold we get Jan/Feb. 🙄🥶. Hoping we miss out on that!

Having 2nd cup -- hope rest of you are sleeping in🥰👍

Thanks for the coffee. I slept until 6:05. Got an inch and half of rain yesterday. It cleared out and I put the ewe crew and lambs in the front field for a few hours. The sheep lots are poop soup. The sun will shine today so maybe help dry it up. I’ll put the ewes and lambs in the front field this morning for the day. I’ll put a wheel on the gate to their pen.

Up to ....... nothing???? Little bit wet, then changed to icy sleety crap... right at 28-31 all morning... warmed up car to get ice off and to keep bottles warm as I feed in shifts of 2 at a time... staying in house rest of the day... supposed to be gone by 4 p.m. and temps might hit 40? Cold wet damp raw out there today. Not a snow flake in sight.

Winter is coming or is here -- temps thru a week from Monday (ten day forecast) will be mid 30s to mid-high 50s. So Cal winter, where glimpses of snow in the mountains can be seen framed in palm trees. :duc
