It may be well intentioned but the ol road to hell saying comes to mind. Plus there are so many varieties of Christianity these days. Heck the opinions on the rapture alone could send a curriculum straight to quagmire town. While a Christian curriculum will chase away the drag queens and related business I’d rather see parents and the churches take responsibility for religious instruction.

Quiet here this morning!
Off to a team running race that is also a camping trip with friends. Time to get my last couple miles in, and build some confidence.
I'm going to be an Ag teacher in about a year, and there's a thing or two I can say about the school system. Truly even as a Christian, religion does not belong in the classroom beyond specific teaching. But there are quite a few decisions the higher-ups have made that have no real logic regarding education.

Great choice of profession! One of the triplets here is an Ag teacher. She loves it and it’s one of those classes I feel we need in EVERY school but sadly, isn’t anymore.

Good morning!! It’s BEAUTIFUL out there and everyone woke up in a good mood. Boone didn’t even treat Fen like a squeaky toy! Although the man is in such a good mood I am holding a broom closeby to make him keep his distance. I say “I’m in pain”, the devil on his other shoulder whispers “well, she’s already in pain, so…?”
The growouts are receiving at least one more day of grace but I do need to find some tiles for the freezer as it’s going to be 87 and that’s hot for us!

For some reason I can’t add text to above pic. The hen was attacked by a hen sitting on a neighboring nest whose eggs haven’t hatched. The chicks in the foreground are Marans, maybe the attacking hen thought they were hers? Which technically they are but that’s what you get when you share a nest, trollop.

Hot today -- lots of sun, LOTS. Thankfully, humidity isn't off the charts. Been walking fields, fences. Checked & topped all waterers. Nice, cool water

Came in for lunch. Need to do stuff, can't get terribly motivated. Moved some goats to the just fenced area. Watching for troublemakers, while I'm home.. Need to worm everyone!!! Rains & you know the drill. Getting all the meds together while I'm inside. Fun will be later, thru the chutes. I need spray on color marker -- hope I have some here. Better get a list of anything else I need, case I have to make a run -- only 6 miles . Still

Darn barbed horseshoe nails are $10 a#, in bulk 2.5# buckets. Fencing is a wallet bomb!
