No. Leaking in middle, underneath, not at wheel. Moves and LF wheel locks, like a brake. Back up & releases. JUST happened first ever yesterday. Parked. Getting ready to grease all wheel points. Added gear oil yesterday. Ideas welcome😁

Stuffy hot out but a breeze...tremendous help!!!

Pictures help with showing from where the leak originates, sounds like PTO shaft seal leaking as it's only opening in the middle except the gear box cover on top.
As for wheel lock, sounds like left brake not releasing. Pull drain plug and look for metal bits, if a bunch then bearing if none, brake adjustment.

@Weldman thanks 😍. No metal bits. Was only happening in fwd & backing released it -- never thought brakes, even tho braking . DUH!👍. Good news...no metals. Greased!! Boy, was that needed. Had filled all gear oil yesterday. Hydraulic was full. Only happening when in faster speed. Drove SLOW all around, turn right, left, back up...distribute all the grease/fluids. Then a few parking brake on/release. Move & brake. Put into cruise & off. Into 2 then 4WD. Hi then low gears...😳😳😱. Seems maybe was a stuck thing ??? Just mowed half of yard and so, far, so good. I can go fwd in higher speed now and not lock that wheel! 👍😁😁. At this point, seems back to normal. I check fluids each use -- best I can do until I can schedule seal replacements. And, possible a hydraulic line leaking down...some up there to FEL. Usually they split and blow like a whale tho. 🤣 Don't want a blow out. Definitely not engine oil!! Whew.

Thanks for the walk thru & knowledge share.

Over mechanic chores. Batteries all charged for weed eater...will do that. Then switch out bush hog with tiller and if I live thru all, till in garden later. :old :lol:. Which was intent before this.

Hope everyone else is loving "farm life" too! :yesss:

Mechanics... PITA..... but hope that it just needed greasing and all.... sometimes on the trucks the brakes will "stick".... the backing up gets the automatic adjuster to release and then will sometimes "fix its self".... used to have one on one truck that would do that... back up a couple times.... and it would release. Had the mechanic back then pull the wheel and could never find anything "wrong".... and then it quit doing it...
Sure hope that it is fixed for you.

See, I told @Weldman he needs to take a "roundabout way" when he moves to TX (ha ha) and come by and so some "road work" along the way...

You know what's really great about it? There's no hint of male/female differences in these assists. You threw out "changing a seal" like I was just another mechanic!! :idunno :old Not a little ole lady!🤣 Yes, we're capable. Cautious. Work around limitations. Willing workers. Thinkers. Doers.
Not for me to judge what one is capable of based on age, sex, race or sexual preference, it is for me to help if I can. If one can’t do it then I’m sure they can find someone and passing on the information may help them save money from throwing parts at things or misdiagnosis.
Wife is ex city slicker never turned a wrench till she met me. She just rolled her car out last week from the pole barn after doing a wheel bearing on the front, new CV axle, lower control arm ball joint and outer tie rod. I double check and guide when need be, but she is able cause I taught her.

Not just knowing how to fix and what to do, but being able to share and teach takes a special kind of man. That makes you even more awesome.

Usually grandparents are good at that, I must be getting old :gig
On serious note, never really thought of it that way. Just figure hey this is a way to save time and money, if you know this you can prevent this which will only cost you this if you do it yourself.
I can only be in so many places at once, can turn so many clicks on a ratchet in my life, so if I go first or early I know I set her up to stay out here with the tools, knowledge and experience.
Can't do everything I do, but get damn close.
