Went to Brick N Barn yesterday. Always a fun place to go and catch up with friends and shop a bit (or more like look around). They had the antique barn all gussied up for Christmas with antique Christmas things. I carried Sage inside the barn since it was crowded and no one was looking down - Sage would have been a definite trip hazard.
I took so long in there she fell asleep in my arms - have to enjoy it while I can she's growing fast. Picked up some cinnamon swirl bread a friend makes, and a jar of stuffing mix (really good stuff) that my friend also puts together in a huge Mason jar. Also picked up my Christmas present to myself - Hoof Boss. I'd order it, the plug in not battery, and they sent the wrong one. Told them it wasn't what I'd ordered and in less the 24 hrs they sent a replacement. Fantastic folks - my dealings with other companies customer service lately has been even less than less then stellar. So this was so wonderful to have real people who understand and actually provide true customer service.
And.... a possible new ram ??? just a lamb, 1/4 Dorper, 1/4 Katahdin and1/2 Cal Red (a 7 1/2 hr drive away). I have my ram who is nice and has given me good lambs. I haven't yet bred him to his daughters - thinking I'm a generation away from needed a new ram??
Holding Sage and snagging a Christmas pic.
