I found a feed store that I’ve somehow overlooked so feed problem is hopefully solved. No new lambs for a few days but several ewes have that “any minute” look. My FIL passed yesterday after a brief hospitalization due to a fall. I’m glad Hubbs was visiting them. We both had a feeling that he needed to check in on them. His parents were raised on family farms and are fiercely independent, still in their own home.

I should start looking into those BIG bags! I'm 50#ing alfalfa pellets. 3-400# at a time. And poured into metal trash cans (or meat teach cans ;)). I keep the bags in the "tackroom" - as my cans only hold ~150#. One can for pellets and one for sheep mineral. LOL any bigger can for me and reaching the bottom could be an issue (help I've fallen and I can't get out!). Need to check around and put the thinking cap on.
Got all my books and records finished up yesterday. Feels good to have that done and a plan for who stays, who gets bred, who goes to freezers and who goes to auction. I've had a feeling as to who/what/where just looking at everyone, but actually getting it written out feels sooo good. On the right track.

@Blue Sky Good on feed, sorry about FIL.

@Weldman. If the corn was only wet & fermenting, pigs could still have & loved it! Poultry, too. What'd you do with it?

Hay run cancelled, dealer closed Sun/Mon. I forgot what day it was -- home so much, don't remember! :old
It’s turning black and it’s still in the tote. Haven’t done anything with it yet.

Found a 14% all stock. It has 10 ppm copper but the limit is 23 according to several sources. Also says safe for sheep and lambs on bag. I’ll mix with 1/3 sweet feed and a little corn as usual.
Thanks all for the condolences, they are appreciated.

I'm sorry for your loss.
