After 2 kinds of broth.... I was handed a rum ball and some herbal "you have a cold" tea.....

The rum ball.... yum! But, I do NOT think it is flammable!

Hey all, feel like I should check in.
Spent about a week at my parents house, celebrated Christmas yesterday. Then got up this morning and drove down to Colorado to decorate some Christmas cookies with some family. Staying with my grandma for Christmas to celebrate with the extended family.

Fogged in here like 100' visibility! Weather says "zero" my area. Haven't seen that in a long time quite the surprise at daylight. A chilly 31 out, too. But going to 60 later. Strange weather.

Doing some cooking later today. This time off hasn't sunk in to my mind. I'm still working through the "rush it all into long weekend" mode. . Makes you a little anxious. I've got 2 weeks of this

Noticed that all of a sudden the cows seem ..... taller..?
Guess it's time to start spending a few afternoons moving all that waste hay from around the feeder!

No power this morning. It stormed all night. Low water pressure so I drew up a couple pots of water. Found Carson at the front door, wouldn’t look at me. Guilty. Found it! Big poop pile at back door. Before coffee! I got coffee cooking on the stove, grabbed a bunch of paper towels and cleaned it up. Put it in a bag, put bag outside. Scrubbed hands. Wasn’t mad at Carson, accidents happen.

Have coffee now. Called in outage to electric company. Will slop through mud to feed this morning, change clothes and go to church.

Speaking of Fairies my toilet backed up last night. Thankfully not too badly and I have a good idea where the problem is and how to fix it. Would have been interesting otherwise. May have had to learn the answer to the age old question of what bears do in the woods…

Good morning! Mister Fenny Fleabag Fubar Furball the First would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas Eve, from 1 mile West of the middle of nowhere, Oregon.
I plan to drink coffee and make a Sourdough Cinnamon Christmas Star today, while surviving the last 2 days of the 3 mo long untreated UTI, which all my friends on FB assured me I am going to die from if I don’t go to hospital in next 48 hr. Don’t ask me why the past 90 days were safe…but not today or tomorrow…guess I’ll see if they are right, cuz I ain’t going anywhere

As to "death from UTI" it's my understanding there's a low percentage. As to "wishing I was dead" ... different story! Do not take entire bottle of meds when delivered on Tues, no matter the urge!! It won't do the trick.
