We average 12 inches of rain a year here. About 20 miles from the ocean. Most out the water here is piped in from the Colorado River (or so I’ve been told). There are wells - though that can be hit or miss and are very deep. A lot of that also comes with salts from the ground. Can’t convince DH to put in a catchment system .

Back after a few days of road tripping.
Got the next couple of weeks to get my act together and also just enjoy life.

Yeah - like now it’s more an embarrassment that us primes even went to college. Once mine started being wok-ish actually before - I say they are dead to me. It ~was a good school.

I’m 20 miles west of Lufkin. It’s been raining HARD since 1:30 and it’s 6:30 now.
