We average 12 inches of rain a year here. About 20 miles from the ocean. Most out the water here is piped in from the Colorado River (or so I’ve been told). There are wells - though that can be hit or miss and are very deep. A lot of that also comes with salts from the ground. Can’t convince DH to put in a catchment system 😳😕.

That is next on my list of things to put in, first is finishing this today of what I started yesterday. Got another 8 feet to go.

Gee, that's dry people! We got 12" of rain last WEEK. This morning I'm getting ready for more tomorrow.
@Baymule are you in/near Lufkin? Ryan Hall y'all on YouTube says you're getting creamed again if so around the 3 minute mark.
I’m 20 miles west of Lufkin. It’s been raining HARD since 1:30 and it’s 6:30 now.
