I have rain -- thankfully not much mud. Only a couple "spots". I may never get all the grass mowed again . Every day 1/4 to 1+ inches for a week.

On top of too much spring rain, to early extreme heat without rain, now plenty of rain --- they say my area will have a "colder than normal" winter just hoping there's no snow!!

I'm gonna go ahead to work!! The weather is messing with my plans. I'll fill my mug & leave...at least I'll be inside stores.

Very cool out here in the PNW. We're in the hi 70s and low 80's for the next week or so. I don't mind. Saves electricity and the AC. Garden likes it too.

Worked this morning, taking a break because I am house sitting for 6 dogs, but then back in a bit to feed dinner to horses, and then heading to help a friend get sheep ready at the County Fair.

I let the geese out ALONE to graze.

I THINK they are big enough, and enough of them... that an eagle will not try to eat them... we shall see!

Caught nice fish yesterday!

Stopped at friends to get my figs...now I have 28# to cut & dehydrate. Already tired as I worked all day. Better start.

Thunder & rain at 3am woke me . Couldn't get back to sleep. It stopped, now I'm sleepy!! Planned to go to work today...but, may not unless I can IV caffeine its 6am and I need a nap hate days like this. Maybe an hr nap & reconsider if I can function

Woke up at 4 AM. Going for second cup of coffee. Morning news is giving me predictions of more rain plus storms for the weekend.

Most of Montana will have their power turned off today due to extreme fire hazard, storm blowing through and humidity is dropping below 10%. I'm glad to be off grid.
106°F for highs which means some people are going to roast without their AC when they turn the power off.
